Why is my Roku freezing or reloading during a movie?

Rokus are great devices; we love them. However, like any method of streaming media, occasionally problems can occur. For example, we have found that 1st generation Rokus (Roku 1) can exhibit both longer load times for movies and buffering issues if the internet connection bandwidth drops. If you're experiencing issues with a film freezing up and/or reloading, we recommend first checking you network connection.

If you continue to experience issues watching Fandor on Roku and can't locate the source of the problem, please contact us at
support@fandor.com so we can better assist you. If possible, please also answer the following questions to the best of your ability:

1) What Roku model are you viewing on? (Roku 1 or Roku 2, for example).

2) What is the current Firmware Version of your Roku (to locate this information, log on to your Roku and click the "Settings" icon on your Roku home screen and then select "Firmware").

3) Are you experiencing this issue at a particular time of the day?

4)
Please visit this site: http://www.speedtest.net and click the icon to begin the test and wait for it to complete. Once complete, click the option to share results and hit copy next to the URL and paste it in a reply back to us.

5) How many computer/devices are currently hooked up to your network?

6) Which film(s) were you watching when you experienced this problem?

7) How is your Roku connected to your television? (For example, Composite, HDMI cable, etc.)
